The Lanterns
Built-to-rent branding that feels like coming home.
LIGHTING UP A NEW CATEGORY
Denver-metro renters have moved on from the "someday I'll own a nice home" mindset. So The Lanterns meets them there, with a neighborhood already switched on. Porch lights glowing, life already in motion. The kind of place where ownership energy meets rental freedom.

JANE | FOUNDER
Project Title
Our job was carrying that promise forward: close enough to Brighton Crossings to feel like family, distinct enough to be its own destination.
We found our throughline in light. Not the whole neighborhood, each home's own.
The porch light left on a little longer. The glow from a window at dusk. A "welcome" that doesn't wait for an invitation.
That idea carries through every touchpoint: wordmark, palette, and a messaging system built to feel like coming home to a porch light already on.
THE CHALLENGE
Fitting in Without Disappearing
Brighton Crossings' identity was already established and well loved. The Lanterns needed to feel unmistakably part of that world, not like an afterthought or a diluted copy of what already existed.
Brookfield Residential came to us with a first for Brighton Crossings, built on one idea: Live Bright. They were introducing built-to-rent townhomes, still rare in this market, and needed a brand to carry that promise forward.
Introducing a New Kind of Home
OUR APPROACH
Live Bright Wasn't A Tagline. It Was A Promise That Community Itself Was The Offer.

Positioning a New Category
Built-to-rent townhomes were new territory for this market. There was no established playbook to borrow from, no easy comparison to lean on.
